There are a variety of practices that are embedded and woven through many of the offerings of the grove that do not fall into simple or basic categories. The phrase Mantic Arts, as learned through my late teacher Liu Ming, refers to the many arts that form the mosaic of Taoist/Confucian practices, hose branches form the tree of the whole cosmology. Many of the practices invite subtle sensing and receptivity, and others still are new technologies. When offering in the grove, what is utilized is that which is germain, useful, and intuited, and may not always be something we can put a finger on and "say," but perhaps "experience," and even more possibly, grow through.
